Discover Opportunity for Health Service Enterprises in African Countries

Many health organizations in Kenya and many African countries are inefficient and ineffective. Care available in many health organizations is of low quality.

Poorly structured health organizations lack market competitiveness. As such, many Africans who can afford it, prefer to seek medical care outside Africa. Outbound medical tourism from Africa to other countries is booming, as patients travel outside their coutries to seek better medical care.

At the same time, tens of thousands of African doctors are unemployed. In Kenya for example, about 500 trained doctors with Master of Medicine in Surgery  degree (i.e., surgeons) are unemployed. They cannot find work anywhere in the country. Kenya loses 51% of trained doctors every year, as the migrate out of the country seeking employment.

Opportunity

Better structured health enterprises will achieve efficiency in the marketplace. They will attract money for funding their capital projects and working budgets. With sufficient funding, they will provide better services to health consumers. Their services will be of highest quality achievable.
